Baby, Baby, Baby....

So I was watching a show that was singing that RIDICULOUS song and it is now stuck in my head. Give me a BREAK!! I know my girl Ashley has the fever but I don't get it. I never understood any of these teeny bopper trends in music, have they ever grown up into something you want your children to look up to? Even when I was young I never listened to New Kids on The Block or Mickey Mouse Club or whatever was around back then (Val you could probably tell me) I listened to my own version of bad music. I had my tapes, yes tapes, of Lisa Loeb (Jared is still relentless about this) and Nirvana, 311 and the Beastie Boys. Not saying I grew up to be the best person in the world but i sure am glad Britney wasn't who I looked up to, Heaven knows where I would be. I see situations where these kids would do ANYTHING to listen to or sing along with these "role models" OK so I need to also include the 40 year old women who tend to also be obsessed. It is pretty bad that anyone gets that obsessed with ANYTHING let alone a 15 year old. I am vowing that if I am ever lucky enough to have my own children the Disney Channel is BANNED from my home. Any teen bopper music is BANNED from not only my home and car but my children's mouths. I know the title of this maybe threw some people off, I still enjoy doing that. I have a niece coming in September or early October and that is enough for now. Just wanted to vent a little bit.

I never have new pictures.. good thing I don't need them this time

This is a totally random post:
So I just wanted to say, WOW I cannot believe how many people are pregnant. Congratulations to all of you. For those of you are waiting for other means to have a family I wish you the best of luck and I pray for you every night. So there are about 12 people I know who are having babies... I want to say I am so glad that Veronica is having a girl, she deserves it and I can't wait to meet her. I love that my extended family is growing, it also confirms my decisions that holiday visits are off limits, summertime is the way to go.

Speaking of summertime visits. I will be in Utah in less than a month and enjoying a cabin in Sundance. I am excited to go to bridal veil falls and the Timponogus (I am sure that is spelled horribly wrong) caves and just enjoy the outdoors and trees. In Arizona we are already in the 1-teens but i don't mind it. I love how it feels, I love going to the pool at 2 in the afternoon and getting some color.

Work.... hmmm.... well I have been playing the role of manager as a try out for a permanent position for the last two weeks. I feel like everything is going well. I am excited to finish the assignment and see how i did. Ok well that is all i want to write...

Officially a year...

So it has been a year since I cut my hair off. It is crazy but it is almost back to the original length. It also has almost been a year since we moved into the house. We are waiting for our couches to be delivered and some artwork to arrive in the mail and we will be able to post the pictures. We are getting a pool table but that will take a few months to save up for. A lot has happened in the last year. I love Arizona and I feel super blessed that I was able to move here with my husband. Our new ward is great I love that everyone is so close and all the kids are adorable. Anyway, just a quick update while I watch some shows.
